In a press release on August 11, 2015, US Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) announced the award of additional $169 million in Affordable Care Act (ACA) funds to support 266 new health center sites in 46 states. These newly funded sites are expected to increase access to health care services for an additional 1.2 million patients nationwide.

Six existing health centers and 3 new organizations in New Jersey are among the nationwide awardees with a total award of $3,697,689 to serve an anticipated 30,073 additional individuals at 9 new locations.
